Several years ago, during a typical Saturday afternoon session of yard work, I was using a gas powered grass trimmer and once again was overcome by the physical strain that this tedious but necessary chore has put on my body.  It was then that I first envisioned a simple device to help eliminate that physical strain.  Soon after, I built a prototype consisting of a single swivel wheel and shaft which supports the grass trimmer so the operator doesn’t have to.  I name the device the Trimmer Caddy.  After a long patent search, I discovered that many other similar ideas had been patented, but none on record could surpass the usefulness and practicality of my invention.  I have since obtained a patent on the Trimmer Caddy and have been manufacturing it.
